Trek to Ramadevara betta, Kyatsandra, Tumkur
Ramadevara betta is on the stretch which goes to Tumkur. This is 64kms from Hebbal junction, and takes about 90 minutes to reach. It's a toll free stretch if you are on a two wheeler. Enroute, you would pass by Dobaspet/Dabaspete, then after 15kms you need take a right turn and head towards Kyatsandra railway station. From here, its just 10 minutes walk to the base of the hill. We started on my bike at 09:45 from Hebbal with my partner in crime whose a travel/trekking junkie. Since we were already late and had some catching up to do, we drove at break neck speeds of 80-100KMPH :P. With such super sonic speeds we were able to catch up with our new friends at Kyatsandra railway station at around 11AM. They had started out on their journey in a train from Majestic (Sangolli Rayanna railway station) to Kyatsandra railway station.
